Jim began his operation with just one horse in 1999. Today he currently owns 45 thoroughbred racehorses and 8% of a stallion standing in West Virginia. Jim’s interest in the horse industry has grown since 1999 with the decisions to breed several of his mares, increase his number of racehorses and build the Equestrian Center. Jim also has an active Real Estate Brokerage and Appraisal business. He resides in Oak Hill, Virginia and is on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Thoroughbred Association.

Caroline Leake / Trainer / Instructor
Caroline has been riding horses since early childhood. She received professional training from the greats - J. Michael Plumb, Jack LeGoff and Colonel Bengt Ljunquist, an international dressage coach. Caroline has trained and ridden several advanced three-day horses, including Cajun (USEA 1973 Horse of the Year) and Comic Relief (USEA 1976 Horse of the Year). Currently Caroline breaks and schools young horses and still competes. She resides in Berryville with her husband, Eddie, and their daughter, Denyadee.
